ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball cruised to an 80-38 win over Penn State Berks on Saturday afternoon.
 
Four of the 12 Knights hit double-digits in the game, led by Aubrie Breisblatt with 12. Lauren Klieber, Jacqueline Wardrop and Emily DuPont all netted 10 points. Five Knights added six points as the team shot 51.5% from the floor. DuPont grabbed nine rebounds while Bri Gautier had eight and Klieber added seven. The team tallied nine blocks led by Gautier with three.
 
Neumann came out hot and shot 71.4% from the floor in the first quarter. The Knights scored the first six points of the game and led 16-4 midway through the quarter. Neumann built a 31-6 lead at the first break. The Knights continued to add it their lead in the second quarter for a 52-13 score at the half.
 
Each team netted 14 points in the third quarter for a 66-27 score. Cioni Simmons wrapped up the scoring with a pair of free throws in the final minute of regulation for the 80-38 win.
 
Neumann (13-6) gets back into conference action on Wednesday when it heads to Marymount. Action is slated to get underway at 6:00 PM.
