SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team doubled-up Marywood University 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference matchup.
 
The Knights opened the scoring in the 33^rd minute as Riley Senisi scored on a header after a few throw ins to get down the field. Jon Zubert drew the assist. Neumann held the 1-0 lead at halftime.
 
In the 55^th minute, after the Knights inbound a corner kick, Zion Atta-Krah knocked the ball into the net off an assist from Carter Gorczyca. The Pacers cut the lead in half in the 87^th minute. Marywood had once more shot before the horn sounded, but the ball went high.
 
Jackson Laznik made four save in net for the win. Neumann outshot Marywood 13-9 overall, but the Pacer led on net 5-3.
 
Neumann (5-4-4, 2-0-0 Atlantic East) heads to La Salle on Monday evening for a game against the Explorers. Action gets underway at 7:00 PM.
