Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men’s Soccer Upended by Marymount

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Soccer suffered a 1-0 loss in their last regular season game of the year against Marymount University on Wednesday night.

Neumann took the possession advantage from the opening kick but in the 11th minute, it was Marymount who grabbed the lead on a counterattack. The Knights were knocked on their heels a bit but recovered to continue tilting the field in their favor. Unfortunately for Neumann, their 15-7 lead in shots, and 12-2 advantage in corners, did not yield an equalizing goal.

Jake Kuzmick led the offensive effort with three shots, one on goal. Jon Zubert, Luke Mejia, and Riley Senisi also attempted two shots. Jackson Laznik made three saves in the effort.

Neumann (8-6-4, 5-1) closes the regular season in second place in the Atlantic East Conference and after earning a first-round bye, will host the number three seed, Immaculata University in the semifinal on Wednesday, November 6.
