ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision against Saint Vincent College in their final non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.
The Knights did a good job of hanging with Saint Vincent over the first half, keeping them scoreless despite being outshot by a 10-4 margin, 3-1 on goal. The Bearcats got on the board after a corner kick dropped in the box and was put home in the 49
th minute. They struck again in the 57
th and 78
th minutes to take the contest.
Jaclyn Burmood came off the bench to lead the Knights offensively with three shots, one on goal.
Julianna Hatt had one shot on goal as well.
Lex Navarro and
Sarah Andreano each made three saves, splitting time equally in goal.
Neumann (4-7-1) will be back in action on Wednesday for their first Atlantic East Conference game of the season against Centenary. The opening kick from the Turf Field is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
