ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team picked up its first win of the season with an 83-51 win over Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday evening.
Lauren Klieber led four Knights in double-digits with 23 points.
Aubrie Breisblatt and
Emily DuPont each netted 13 points.
Jacqueline Wardrop added 11 points.
After the teams traded baskets to start the game, Neumann took off and built a 20-8 lead on a three-pointer by DuPont. The Knights held a 21-13 lead after the first 10 minutes.
The Knights kept a double-figure lead for most of the second quarter and held a 43-28 lead at the break. Neumann doubled Penn State Brandywine on the board in the third quarter, 22-11, for a 65-39 score heading into the final 10 minutes.

Brighid Brady netted their first points as a Knights as Neumann cruised to the 83-51 win.
Neumann (1-1) heads to Ursinus on Saturday afternoon with a tip-off slated for 1:00 PM.
