ASTON, Pa – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its season with a 7-2 win over Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Knights opened the match by taking two of three in doubles action. Daniel Bonowski and Jason Petrin won 8-3 at first doubles, as did Vince Landis and Joe Troilo at second doubles.
 
Neumann followed by taking five of six in the singles matches. Petrin won his second singles match 6-3, 6-3. Landis followed with a 7-6, 6-1 win at third singles. Troilo battled to a 7-5, 6-0 win at fourth singles.
 
Anthony Carpinella won his match in the fifth flight, 6-4, 6-2. James Leuzzi wrapped up the afternoon with a 6-3, 6-4 win at sixth singles.
 
Neumann (3-1) is back on the court tomorrow and will host DeSales beginning at 3:30 PM.
