ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Lacrosse used a big second half to defeat FDU- Florham, 15-6, in a non-conference game on Sunday afternoon.

Although FDU- Florham scored first with 10:19 on the clock, Connor Hurley tied the game up 34 seconds later. Again, the Devils would score at the 7:47 mark but with 3:20 left, Darius Thompson scored his first collegiate goal tying the game at two after one quarter of play.

The Devils struck twice to start to second, giving them a 4-2 lead. Hurley scored twice more in the quarter sandwiched around an FDU- Florham goal, giving the Devils a one-goal lead at the midway point.

2:56 into the third, Brendan Boschi scored with the man up to tie the game and then Matt Morris scored with the man down three and a half minutes later to give the Knights the lead. After the Devils tied the game up at six, Neumann took control of the game, going on a massive run. Carter Vanderhoofven and Hurley scored 31 seconds apart followed by a Luke Sykes goal with 96 seconds left for a 9-6 lead after three.

Neumann dominated the fourth, not allowing a goal in the final frame. Renzo Garone scored with the man up and struck again at even strength, just under a minute later. Two minutes later, at 8:22, Hurley popped home his final goal of the day. Garone and two from Boschi closed out the scoring as the Knights outpaced the Devils, 11-1 over the last 30 minutes of play.

Hurley finished with five goals and an assist to lead the attack. Boschi had an eight point day with a hat-trick and five helpers. Garone also had a hat-trick, along with an assist.
