ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Tennis team dismantled Rutgers-Camden on Friday afternoon by a final score of 9-0.
In the doubles portion of the day,
Daniel Bonowski and
Jason Petrin got things rolling with an 8-1 win. The combo of
Vince Landis and
Joe Troilo also took down their second doubles opponents by an 8-1 score.
Tony Andrews and
Logan Gorbitz added an 8-0 shutout.
Bonowski, in first singles, had a perfect match, winning both sets 6-0. Petrin dropped a set on his way to a 6-0, 6-1 win. Landis had to battle in third singles picking up a 6-4, 6-1 win.
Adam Barisa,
Ryan Muckle, and
Dylan Stiteler each were able to coast with straight set wins. Barisa grabbed a 6-1, 6-1 win, Muckle won 6-0, 6-0, and Stiteler finished the day with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
Neumann (5-3) will get back to action on Wednesday, April 17
th when they visit Immaculata in Atlantic East Conference play. The matchups will begin at 3:30 PM.
