IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team picked up a 17-12 win over Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference first round game.
Brendan Boschi scored three goals and added four assists for seven points. With the seven points, the sophomore has reached the 100-point plateau for the season, just the third Knight to accomplish that task and the first in 25 seasons.

Connor Hurley and
Matt Morris all added three goals in the win.
Renzo Garone and
Connor Paradis both tallied a pair.
Owen Avelar made 14 saves in net and drew an assist.
After Garone scored the first goal of the game in the first minute, the teams went back and forth. With the Mighty Macs up by one, 3-2, the Knights tallied five straight to end the first quarter and take a 7-3 lead.
Luke Sykes scored in the first minute of the second quarter for an 8-3 lead. The teams went back and forth to end the first half and the Knights took an 11-7 lead into halftime.
Immaculata scored the fist three goals of the third quarter to pull within one, 11-10. Brovero scored to stop the five straight goals from the Mighty Macs, going back to the second quarter. Hurley found the back of the net with nine second left before the horn for a 13-10 score heading into the final 15 minutes.
Hurley scored to start the fourth quarter and put Neumann up by four. Boschi tallied his 100
th point of the season with nine minutes left in regulation. Paradis and Morris scored with five minutes remaining to seal the first round win.
Neumann (9-8) heads to Cabrini for semifinal action on Wednesday.
