In the second, the domination continued as the Knights scored the only eight goals, pushing the lead to 20-2 at the midway break. They also shutout the Cyclones in the third by a 4-0 margin before the two teams traded single goals in the fourth.

Boschi led the onslaught with nine goals and four assists. Garone added a hat-trick plus six assists while Connor Hurley also scored three with one assist. Jordan Frenzen helped out with a couple of goals of his own. Nic Ruberto also picked up his first goal as a collegian.

Methlie also ended up with a team-high 10 ground balls followed by nine of Javon Felix to go with his 11-for 12 performance in the faceoff "X".
