RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Lacrosse team closed out their 2024 season, dropping an 18-4 decision against Cabrini on Wednesday night.
Neumann found themselves trailing by five in the first five minutes before
Rex Thenor scored her sixth goal of the season to get her squad on the board. Cabrini added seven more before the first quarter came to a close. Early in the second,
Lindsey Fagan got on the board to make it a 15-2 game with 4:29 left in the half. The scoring calmed down from there as
Lindsey Fagan, in the fourth, scored with a player-down for her 55
th of the year. With two seconds remaining,
Lea Mirabile notched her first career goal.
In addition to her two goals, Fagan had a ground ball and two draw controls.
Maggie Miller also had two draw controls.
Maggie Blemings assisted on three of the Knights' goals.
Ashley Butts and
Leia DiNuova led the defensive effort with two caused turnovers each.
Catriona Corrigan made five saves in her 30 minutes while
Kortney Kaelin made two.
Neumann ends their 2024 campaign with an overall record of 8-10.
