ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision against Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday night in a non-conference match.
The Knights came out with fire and had multiple chances towards goal in the early going. Even with a couple of breakaways, they could not find the back of the net. That trend would continue in spite of outshooting the Chargers by a 10-5 margin through the first 45 minutes. Midway through the second, in the 77th minute, Lancaster Bible College powered a shot home against the run of play for the game's only marker.
Jake Kuzmick led the Knights with five shots, including two on goal.
Nick LoBiondo had four shots, one on goal, while
Aiden Conover had all three of his shot reached the goal.
Jackson Laznik made three saves in goal.
Neumann(2-3-1) will be back on the pitch on Saturday afternoon when they host Stockton University in another non-conference clash. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start.
