ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Soccer team dropped a 2-0 non-conference game against FDU- Florham on Friday night.
The first half went scoreless, but goalkeeper
Kiki Soto made several diving saves to send the game to the break without a goal. Two minutes into the second half, FDU- Florham struck on a header after a corner kick for a 1-0 lead. In the 75
th minute, the Devils doubled their lead after a free kick was worked into the box and punched home.
Julianna Hatt led the Knights offensively with two shots, one on goal.
Morghan Stiles also took two shots. Soto continued her heroics in the second half, making 10 total saves in her effort to keep Neumann close in the game.
Neumann(4-6) will try to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they host Stevenson University in another non-conference game. It is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
