YORK, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss against York College in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon.
York scored the lone goal of the game, against the run of play in the 16
th minute. Neumann controlled much the play throughout as they outshot York by a 17-7 margin. They also outcornered the Spartans by an 8-3 clip. The Knights just could not find the equalizing goal.
Landon Moroney and
Jake Kuzmick led the offensive attack with four shots, one on goal, each.
Luke Mejia took three shots with one on goal.
Jackson Laznik made one save in the goal.
Neumann (2-4-4) will return to action on Wednesday when they host FDU- Florham for another non-conference tilt. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
