LANCASTER, Pa. – The Atlantic East Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon and a trio of Neumann University basketball players were among the recognized. Donte Dupriest was named the Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week while TJ Lewis was selected to the weekly Honor Roll. Emily DuPont was named to the Women's Basketball weekly Honor Roll.
 
Dupriest tallied two more double-doubles in a 2-0 conference week as Neumann's winning streak extended to six games. In the two wins, the junior averaged 13 points, 12.5 rebounds while adding six assists and three steals. In the 85-57 win over Centenary, Dupriest had 12 points and 10 rebounds. He followed with his fifth straight double-double in the 86-74 win at Pratt where he pulled down 15 boards and scored 14 points. This is his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week awards after being named the overall Player of the Week on January 6^th.
 
Lewis averaged 14.5 points during this week's two contests. He also added 4.5 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals. In the win over Centenary, the senior scored 12 points. Lewis followed with 17 points, including going 9-for-10 from the line, in an 86-74 win in Brooklyn against Pratt Institute. This is his second weekly Honor Roll appearance of the season, and third weekly award.
 
DuPont scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds in the 67-62 win at Centenary in Neumann's lone game of the week. She also added six steals, three assists and two blocks as the Knights improved to 2-1 in Atlantic East action. This is the seventh weekly Honor Roll selection of the season for DuPont.
 
Both teams return to action on Wednesday against Marymount University. The men's team will head down to Virginia for a 7:00 PM start while the women's team will be at home for a 6:00 PM tip-off at the Mirenda Center.
