ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Athletics and Recreation Department is proud to announce that a new scoreboard has been installed at the Turf Field.

The new scoreboard from Watchfire Technologies and installed by Miller Sports Construction features a dynamic bright lighting system including the ability to change the team's names along with the colors and fonts of those names. A user-friendly touch screen display will also allow the Athletics Communications Department to more easily use the system.

"This new scoreboard enhances an already amazing Turf Field facility and reflects our commitment to continually improving our facilities, elevating the student-athlete experience and creating a better game day experience for our fans and campus community.", said John Krimmel, Director of Athletics and Recreation. "We are grateful to Miller Sports Construction and Watchfire for helping bring this project to life. A special thank you to our President, Dr. Domes and Provost, Dr. Wellington for their support and belief in Neumann Athletics. Without their leadership, this project would not have been possible."

Neumann University's Soccer, Field Hockey, Flag Football, and Lacrosse teams will be the beneficiaries of this new enhancement. This will also serve the many outside organizations who utilize the Turf Field. Knights Women's Soccer coach, Kurt Nusshag, who experienced the full debut of the scoreboard on Wednesday, noted, "There's something special about seeing the Neumann name and logo front and center on the new scoreboard and we're excited to see the Knights represented in such a bold way on our home field. It adds to the great home-field experience that our athletes, families, alumni and fans can be proud of.  We're excited to continue building something special here at Neumann".
