ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University today announced a two-year contract extension with NovaCare Rehabilitation for physical therapy and athletic training services for its student-athletes.

"We look forward to NovaCare continuing to provide high level, consistent quality care for our athletes under the two-year partnership extension," said Director of Athletics and Recreation John Krimmel.  NovaCare Rehabilitation has served as the provider of physical therapy and athletic training services for Neumann University since 2012.

The NovaCare Rehabilitation team will include Neumann-appointed Director of Sports Medicine Julia Wayock along with Senior Associate Athletic Trainers Drew Nelson and Tiffany Malin; Associate Athletic Trainer Laura DiLucia; and Assistant Athletic Trainer Paul Thompson.

"It is a privilege to care for and support Neumann University athletes both on and off the field," said Wayock. "We are excited for the many healthy, winning seasons to come."

Krimmel added, "We are blessed to have an incredible Sports Medicine staff supporting our student-athletes here at Neumann.  I am truly thankful for the services that our team from NovaCare provides to ensure we continue to build on our championship culture.  The care that Julia and her team provide is top notch and is a big reason for our team's success.  Julia, Tiffany, Drew, Laura, and Paul represent everything that is great about working in college athletics because of the time and energy that they pour into their jobs for the betterment of Neumann University and Neumann Athletics.  I look forward to continuing our partnership with NovaCare for many years to come.  Congratulations to our Sports Medicine team on their promotions as they are all well-deserved for the impact you have made on our campus and with our student-athletes."
