ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Soccer team was defeated in their final game of the regular season by Marymount University on Wednesday evening by a final score of 4-0.
 
The Knights started off with some solid possession, but it was Marymount who would strike in the 12^th minute. The rest of the half belonged to the Saints, but Neumann made a push to equalize over the last 10 minutes. In the 60^th minute, Marymount doubled their lead and pushed it to three just 45 seconds later. They would score one more time in the 86^th minute to secure the game.
 
Anna Poehlmann, Sierra Lester, Liz Purcell, and Hannah Dang each attempted a shot with Poehlmann forcing a response from the Marymount goalkeeper. Shannon Duffy made the start in goal for the Knights and made four saves.
 
Neumann (6-10-2, 4-3) finishes the conference season in third place and will challenge Marymount in the semifinals of the Atlantic East tournament on Tuesday.
