PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association announced their 2025 selections for the Academic All-Area Men's Soccer team and Neumann University's Dominic Petruzzelli was named to the team.
 
Petruzzelli has gathered his fair share of accolades in 2025 as part of the Atlantic East Conference championship squad. He was named to the Atlantic East Conference First team for the third consecutive season and was named the Defensive Player of the Year for the second time. One week ago, the senior was a United Soccer Coaches Region V Third team selection.
 
In the classroom, he's been named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection for the second time. He was also naming the Atlantic East Elite Scholar Athlete Award winner at this year's championship game.
 
The Warminster, Pa. native joins a list of just 11 student athletes in the area who received this distinction. The team is voted on by the athletic communications offices from institutions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
