ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened the spring schedule with a 6-1 win over Lancaster Bible College on Thursday afternoon.
Neumann opened the match by taking the doubles point.
Jason Petrin and
Vince Landis won second doubles 6-4.
Tony Andrews and
Logan Gorbitz took the forfeit win at third doubles.
The Knights took 5-for-6 points in singles action. Petrin won his match at second singles 6-2, 6-1. Landis took third singles, also 6-2, 6-1.
Daniel Bonowski won the fourth flight 6-1, 6-0.
James Leuzzi batted to a 6-2, 7-5 win at fifth singles.
Adam Barisa won by forfeit at sixth singles.
Neumann (2-3) hosts Eastetn on Saturday afternoon beginning at noon.
