ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team picked up its second straight win, defeated Penn State Brandywine 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.
Sha'xaria Gordon and
Casey McGee won second doubles 6-1 and the Knights took the doubles point with a Lions forfeit at third doubles.
The Knights then took three-of-four singles, along with two forfeits. Gordon followed her doubles win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at second singles.
Kaitlyn Smith also won 6-0, 6-1, taking her match at third singles.
Kayleigh DellaVecchio battled at fourth singles, winning 6-4, 6-3.
Neumann (2-5) will open conference action on Saturday when it travels to Pratt Institute. The Atlantic East action is schedule to begin at 12:00 PM.
