FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened Atlantic East Conference action on Saturday afternoon, fall at Pratt Institute 4-3.
 
Joe Troilo and Anthony Carpinella won their match at second doubles 7-5. In the battle for the doubles point, Logan Gorbitz and Tony Andrews dropped their third doubles match in a tie breaker 7-6 (7-3).
 
In singles play, Troilo won his match at third doubles. After splitting the first two sets, 4-6, 6-1, the Cannoneer withdrew. Trevor Lodge won fifth singles 6-4, 6-3 and James Leuzzi took sixth singles 6-4, 6-1.
 
Neumann (3-4, 0-1 Atlantic East) heads to Rutgers-Camden on Friday beginning at 3:30 PM.
