ASTON, Pa. – College Sports Communicators recently announced their 2024-2025 Academic All-District teams for Basketball and two Neumann University athletes were recognized. Men's Basketball's TJ Lewis, and Women's Basketball's Jacqueline Wardrop were both selected. The Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
 
Lewis finished sixth in the Atlantic East Conference in scoring with 13.4 points per game and was best in the Atlantic East in free throw percentage, hitting 81.1% from the line. The Parkesburg, Pa. native was also awarded the Elite 20 Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the championship site, he had a 3.68 GPA in Sport Management. All of this added up to an All-Atlantic East second team selection. This is his third CSC Academic All-District selection.
 
Wardrop also earns an Academic All-District spot for the third consecutive season. This season, she was tops on the team and in the Atlantic East Conference in minutes played, averaging 35.2 per game. Wardrop was second in the conference with 85 assists, averaging 3.3 per game, good enough for third. She was also third in assist/turnover ratio at 1.3. The fifth year averaged 8.3 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game
