ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team picked up a 5-2 win over Eastern University on Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights opened the match by sweeping doubles action.
Logan Gorbitz and
Tony Andrews made quick work at third singles, 6-1.
Jason Petrin and
Vince Landis took first doubles 7-5.
Joe Troilo and
Trevor Lodge battled at second doubles, coming away with the 7-6 (7-4) win.
The Knights took third through sixth singles to wrap up the afternoon. Troilo won third singles 6-3, 6-0. Lodge took fourth singles 6-4, 6-0.
James Leuzzi made quick work at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Anthony Carpinella wrapped up the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
Neumann (6-4) hosts McDaniel on Saturday in a non-conference matchup beginning at 1:00 PM.
