ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Tennis team defeated Marywood University in an Atlantic East Conference match-up on Monday afternoon, 6-1. Before the match began, the squad recognized their seniors,

The Knights earned the doubles point with three strong performances. The top pairing of Petrin and Landis won their match, 6-2. The second doubles team of
Daniel Bonowski and Troilo shut out their opponents, 6-0, while
Logan Gorbitz and
Trevor Lodge won in third doubles, 6-1.
All five wins for Neumann in the singles portion of the competition went in straight sets. Petrin won his match, 6-0, 6-2, and Landis won second singles, 6-1, 6-0. The third singles match featuring Bonowski was a little tighter, finishing 6-3, 6-3. In the fourth match, Troilo won 6-0, 6-1, with Carpinella took the fifth singles match 6-3, 6-0.
Neumann (7-4, 2-1 Atlantic East) will close out the regular season on Wednesday when they visit Marymount University for a 10:00 AM start.
