ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team picked up a 4-3 win over Rowan College Gloucester County on Monday afternoon to wrap up the regular season.
In doubles action, the duo of
Sha'xaria Gordon and
Kaitlyn Smith won 6-1 at second doubles, but the Roadrunners took the doubles point.
In singles action,
Alura Troilo won 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) at first singles. Gordon took second singles 6-0, 6-1. At third singles,
Kaitlyn Smith won 6-4, 6-1.
Juliet Schilling wrapped up the win with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 battle at fifth singles.
Neumann (6-9) will play in the semifinals on Friday for the Atlantic East. Action gets underway at 12:00 PM against Pratt Institute.
