LANCASTER, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team fell to No. 1 seeded Lancaster Bible 3-0 on Wednesday evening in a United East Conference semifinal match. Set scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-19.
Trey Edmonds led the Knights with nine kills.
Veryl Burns added six.
Noah Banaag handed out 20 assists.
The Knights took an early lead in the second set, 4-1. The teams then battled the entire way through the set, but with the Chargers up 22-21, they were able to scored the next three points for the 25-21 win.
The first and third sets were similar as Lancaster Bible took a small lead and kept the Knights at arm's length. The Chargers took those sets 25-18 and 25-19.
Neumann finishes its season 14-12 overall, 5-3 in the United East and qualifying for the postseason.
