GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators(CSC) announced their Academic All-District picks for Softball.

Olivia Ammon,
Bri Reim,
Cioni Simmons, and
Emily Ammon were Neumann University's selections for this year's team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Costello was named the Atlantic East Conference Pitcher of the Year and to the all-conference First team. She made 11 starts and had 16 appearances with seven complete games and a shutout. Her 2.58 earned run average was the best in the Atlantic East. In 78.2 innings, she allowed 29 earned runs on 89 hits and 29 walks while striking out 70. The graduate student was named the Atlantic East Pitcher of the Week three times and was placed on the weekly Honor Roll twice.
Olivia Ammon hurled 57 innings in the circle in 2025. She struck out 26 batters while only walking 13. She made 16 appearances with 10 starts and had five complete games. She allowed 53 earned runs on 96 hits. On March 31
st, the senior was named the Atlantic East Conference Pitcher of the Week. This is her third CSC Academic All-District selection.
Reim, Neumann University's 2025 Valedictorian, picks up her second CSC Academic All-District selection. She hit .238 in 33 games and 31 starts, with five doubles, a triple, 10 runs batted in, and 12 runs scored.
Simmons played in 38 games with 36 starts in 2025. She hit .225 with seven RBI and 23 runs scored. She stole 13 bases and was tied for first on the team with five sacrifice bunts. The junior earns her second CSC Academic All-District selection.
Emily Ammon had a record-breaking year as she swiped 33 bases in 2025, the single season record in program history. Her 67 career stolen bases is also the most in Neumann history. She hit .315 in 41 games, with three doubles, four triples, 14 RBI, and 25 runs scored. All of that added up to an Atlantic East Conference First team selection. This is her second CSC Academic All-District selection.
