Men’s Tennis Earns Four Atlantic East Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Atlantic East Conference announced their Men's Tennis postseason awards, and four Neumann University athletes were recognized. Joe Troilo and Daniel Bonowski were named to the First team in singles while Vince Landis and Jason Petrin nabbed Second team honors in both singles and doubles.
 
Troilo had a 7-6 overall record, going 2-1 in regular season conference play. In the semifinals against Pratt Institute, he won his match, 6-4 and 6-3. He also won his finals match against Marymount, 6-4, 6-3. This is his third consecutive All-Conference singles selection.
 
Bonowski was 4-3 overall and 2-0 in conference. This is his second singles All-Conference selection after being named to the Second Team last season.
 
Landis had a 2-2 singles record in conference play and in doubles was 7-4 overall and 2-2 in Atlantic Esat action. This is his third singles All-Conference nod, being named Second Team last season, and First Team in 2023. It's also his second, Second Team doubles selection
 
Petrin had a .500 record in conference play with two wins and two losses. In doubles he was 8-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play. In the conference semifinals, he battled to a three set win against his Cannoneer opponent, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. This is second year being named All-Conference in both singles and doubles. Last year, he was First Team in doubles, and Second Team in doubles.
 
Neumann finished with a 9-6 overall record, going 2-2 in the conference. They defeated Pratt in the semifinals, 4-2 and but fell in the finals against Marymount.
