ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Women's Soccer team defeated Albright College in a high-scoring non-conference affair on Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 4-3.

Ebony Arvelo,

That trend continued into the second half until Neumann took advantage of a deep throw in. In the 52
nd minute,
Marisa Nicolucci slipped a throw to Poehlmann. She bounced a cross to Arvelo who toed it home, tying the match at two apiece. 10 minutes later, Poehlmann received a deflection deep in the 18-yard box and powered into the goal for a 3-2 lead. In the 64
th, Purcell moved in on the right side and from a sharp angle, lifted a shot over the goalkeeper to double their edge. Albright battled back with a goal with just over two minutes left but the Knights hung on for the win.
Neumann (2-3-1) will return to the turf on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM for their annual Morgan's Message game as they host Widener University.
