INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee announced their field of 64 teams for the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship on Monday afternoon, and they will take on Endicott College in the First Round.
Neumann earned their second Atlantic East Conference's automatic bid after defeating Gwynedd Mercy University in a thrilling 66-65 game this past Saturday afternoon as the lowest seed to ever win the title. Neumann and Endicott will tip-off on Friday, March 6
th, from MacDonald Gymnasium in Beverly, Massachusetts.
The 64-team, single-elimination tournament consists of 43 automatic qualifiers and 21 at-large bids. All games in the first three rounds will be played on the campuses of the competing teams. Sixteen sites will host four teams for first-and second round competition, March 6
th and 7
th, and the third round will be played on March 13
th and 14
th.
Third round winners will advance to the sectionals and semifinals in Fort Wayne, Indiana from March 19
th – 21
st, and the championship will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, on April 5
th.
