ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Tennis team were dealt a 7-0 loss against Rowan College of Gloucester County on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
In doubles action, the second doubles team of
Adam Barisa and
Luca Troilo had a strong showing but fell 6-3 as Rowan-Gloucester took the doubles point in a sweep.
Logan Gorbitz's fifth singles match went the distance as he took the first set, 6-4 but fell in the second set 6-4, and in the tiebreaker, 10-3.
Mike Brown, in the first singles match took his opponent to the limit in the first set, falling 7-6, 7-3 in the tiebreaking game. He dropped the second set, 6-2.
Neumann (4-5, 0-1 Atlantic East) will return to action on Sunday when they visit Marywood University for a 1:00 PM conference match.
