PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association announced their 2025-2026 selections for the Academic All-Area Men's Basketball team on Wednesday morning, and Neumann University's Donte Dupriest made the list.
 
Dupriest had a big year on the court as he was named the Atlantic East Conference player of the Year for the second straight season. He was also named to the all-conference First Team with 10 total weekly awards from the Atlantic East. He was named the Player of the Week, twice, Defensive Player of the Week, four times, and picked up weekly Honor Roll selections, four times. Additionally, he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Region 5 First Team and the D3hoops.com Region 5 First Team.
 
He led the Knights to a second consecutive Atlantic East Conference championship as they finished with an overall record of 19-10. They came from the number four seed picking up wins over Marywood, Marymount, and Gwynedd Mercy, on their way to the title.
 
Donte is one of only five student-athletes selected for this honor. The team is voted on by the sports information and athletic communications offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
