ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team finished its season falling to DeSales University 5-2 on Thursday.
The Knights started out strong, taking all three doubles matches.
Alura Troilo and
Kayleigh DellaVecchio won their doubles match 6-4. The sister duo of
Molly McGee and
Casey McGee also won 6-4 at second doubles.
Juliet Schilling and
Jane Gorman wrapped up the sweep with a 7-5 win at third doubles.
Troilo took her winning ways into singles action and won 6-1, 6-3 at first doubles. C. McGee battled to a tie-breaker at fourth singles, but fell 2-6, 6-0, 10-1.
Neumann finishes its season 3-10.
