HADDONFIELD, N.J. – The Atlantic East Conference announced their 2026 postseason awards for Baseball on Wednesday afternoon, and three Neumann University athletes were recognized.
Anthony Rakotz was named to the First team while both
Donovan Brooks and
Michael Harless earned Second team honors.
Rakotz earns his second consecutive Second team selection after a strong 2026 campaign. He hit .356 with 10 doubles, a triple, 27 runs batted in, and 33 runs scored. He also earned 20 walks, was hit by a pitch six times, and stole 17 bases. On March 23
rd, the junior was named to the conference's weekly Honor Roll.
Brooks was named to the weekly Honor Roll on March 9
th. During that week, on the fifth, he stole six bases against St. Joseph's-Long Island to set the single-game record at Neumann, breaking his own record that he set exactly one year previously. On March 10
th, he established a new career record at Neumann with a steal against Eastern. He now sits at 83 in his career. His 37 steals this past season, reset the single-season record, which he also owned last season, placing him second in the Atlantic East. He hit .341 with one home run, two doubles, a triple, 16 RBI, and 33 runs scored.
Harless appeared in nine games with eight starts on the mound. He has a record of 3-2 with a 4.12 earned run average. In 39.1 innings, he allowed 46 hits, 31 runs, 18 earned, 10 walks, and struck out 26.
