Women’s Lacrosse Takes Home Seven Atlantic East Awards

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – The Atlantic East Conference announced their 2026 Women's Lacrosse postseason awards on Thursday afternoon, and the conference champions earned seven all-conference awards. Alena Catka, Brighid Brady, and Nora Brady were named to the First team while Rachel Roane, Krista Geibler, Maggie Miller, and Kenna Sanders are on the Second team. Additionally, Neumann was named the Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
Catka finished the season with 62 goals and 35 assists for 97 points, second, fourth, and third in the Atlantic East, respectively. She also dominated draw controls with 157, over 30 more than her closest competitor in the conference. That mark is fifth in all of Division III and her 9.24 draw controls per game ranks third in the country. She was named the Atlantic East Player of the Week, twice, and was named to the weekly Honor Roll four times. This is her third all-conference award and second First team award. She was also named this year's MVP of the Atlantic East tournament.
 
Brighid Brady finished the season with 23 caused turnovers and 33 ground balls. She also scored two goals with one assist. She helped anchor a defense that allowed just 30 goals in five Atlantic East Conference games.
 
Nora Brady was also a major cog in the Neumann defensive effort. She scored one goal with one assist but also had 28 caused turnovers, which was seventh in the conference. She also scooped up 26 ground balls.
 
Roane picked up 30 goals and 11 assists for 41 points in 2026. She added 27 draw controls, 21 ground balls, and five caused turnovers.
 
Geibler was fourth in the Atlantic East with 2.13 caused turnovers per game and total caused turnovers with 34. She added 30 goals and 11 assists for 41 points. She added 16 draw controls and 35 ground balls. On March 16th, she was named to the Atlantic East weekly Honor Roll. This is her second consecutive all-conference Second team selection.
 
Miller earned her third all-conference award after being named to the First team in 2023 and 2025. On March 23rd, she was named the Atlantic East Defensive Player of the Week. She finished the year with 27 goals and 14 assists for 41 points. Her 46 ground balls is sixth in the conference, her 33 caused turnovers is fifth, and her 33 draw controls is ninth.
 
Sanders, the Atlantic East Conference Elite Scholar winner, finished with 22 caused turnovers and 24 ground balls, helping the Knights' defensive effort. She also scored four goals with one assist for five points. 
 
The Knights, led by head coach, Jackie Neary, are 9-8 heading into their first-ever NCAA Division III National Tournament. Joining her on the staff is Macaul Mellor, Sean Ralph, Jamie Gillen, Melissa Michaels, Jackie E. Neary, and Shea Neary. This is coach Neary's fourth overall Atlantic East coaching honor, and first at Neumann University.
