TEMPE, Ariz. – On Wednesday morning, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released their Division III Scholar Athletes and All-Academic teams for 2025-26 and members of both the Neumann University's Men's and Women's teams were among the honored. Additionally, both the men's and women's squads were once again named ITA All-Academic teams.
The women's team had four of their athletes pick up ITA Scholar Athlete status.
Kayleigh DellaVecchio and Alura won the honor for their fourth consecutive years.
Juliet Schilling and
Molly McGee are two-time winners.
On the men's side, a total of seven Knights were bestowed this honor.
Logan Gorbitz earned his fourth award while
Adam Barisa nabs his third.
Luca Troilo and
Chandler Wolf accrue this award for the second time with
Mike Brown,
James Leuzzi, and
Akezhan Melis being named for the first time.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institution eligibility form. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
