LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), on Thursday afternoon, announced that the Neumann University Women's Volleyball team was selected to receive the Team Academic Award for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This is the seventh year the Knights have received this award, also grabbing the award five of the last seven years. A total of 1,432 collegiate and high school teams earned this honor by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).
For the fall season,
Taylor Long and
Julia Solomon were selected to the CSC Academic All-District team. Additionally, 12 Knights were placed on the Atlantic East Conference All-Academic team, showcasing the program's commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as on the court.
The 2026 season is right around the corner as the Knights will start their inaugural season in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on September 1
st with a non-conference match against Cedar Crest College.
