Dan DiBartolomeo begins his fourth season as the Neumann University head baseball coach for the 2020 season.
The 2019 season was an up and down year for Neumann as the Knights finished with a record of 14-22 on the year including a 5-7 mark in the first year of Atlantic East Conference play. The Knights entered the conference playoffs as the No. 5 seed, dropping both games in the playoff pod at Gwynedd Mercy to bow out of the postseason. Seven Neumann players received all-conference honors led by Jake Urena on the first-team. Jared Morris, Zach Ray, John Schoelkopf, John Lindeborn, Danny Padilla and Curt Yenchik all earned second-team all-conference honors.
In his second season at the helm in the 2018, Dibartolomeo led the Knights to a record of 20-23 overall and a 10-6 record in conference play. Neumann advanced to the CSAC semifinals where the team fell to Gwynedd Mercy University by a score of 2-1. Seven Knights earned all-conference honors, led by John Schoelkopf and Grant Wallace on the First Team. Schoelkopf also set a program-record for hits in a season with 68 and was named to the D3Baseball.com All Mid-Atlantic Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ACBA)/Rawlings Third Team and the All Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII Second-Team. Dan Padilla was named Second Team All-CSAC, while Cody MacNair, Josh Cruz and Isaiah Morales received honorable mention.

During his first season, the Knights went 21-18 overall and 14-7 in conference action. Neumann advanced to the CSAC semifinals. Five Knights were named to the CSAC All-Conference team. Cody MacNair was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team as well as the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team.

Prior to becoming the Head Coach in 2017, DiBartolomeo has been an assistant coach at Neumann for the previous two seasons (2015, 2016), where he oversaw much of the recruiting process as well as working with the infielders, base runners and hitting. Prior to coming to Neumann he served as an assistant coach at Stockton College in 2012.

DiBartolomeo was a three-year starter for West Virginia University. He set the Mountaineers' single season record for hitting, batting .439 in 2009. The mark ranked DiBartolomeo fourth in the NCAA in batting that season and was ranked the No. 1 third basemen in the country by Rivals.com. He was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region First Team and All Big East for his efforts. DiBartolomeo registered a .356 career batting average at WVU and was a two time pre-season all Big East selection.

DiBartolomeo graduated from West Virginia in 2013 with his bachelor's degree in Sociology. He completed his Masters in Sport Management from Neumann in the fall of 2016.
