Jon Young begins his seventh season as the assistant coach of the men’s volleyball team.
Coach Young has been the assistant under Coach Braid at Cheyney from 2012-17. Before that, he was the assistant at Bryn Mawr College from 2002-2012. Coach Young also was the coach at the Freedom Volleyball Club from 2001-2005.
Coach Young received his B.A. in English from Villanova in 2002, where he was a member and captain of the men’s club volleyball team. He also has his A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies the Community College of Philadelphia and his Master of Legal Studies from the University of Arizona.
Coach Young is from Kaneohe, Hawaii and attended Maryknoll High School.
