Kayla Chamberlain Buckley

Kayla Chamberlain Buckley enters her sixth season as the Head Women’s Tennis Coach for the 2016 season.
 
Last season, the Knights went 4-11 overall and 2-8 in conference action. In 2014, the women went 8-6 overall and fell just one spot shy of making the playoffs, going 6-4. Neumann also went 6-4 in conference action in 2013, 10-8 overall. In 2012, the Knights went 9-7 overall and 8-2 in the conference. The Knights reached the CSAC semifinals, the first appearance in the postseason under Coach Buckley. In the 2011 season, Neumann finished 6-7 overall and 5-5 in CSAC action.
 
As an undergraduate, Buckley was a member of the Neumann’s women’s tennis team for four seasons. She was a captain her junior and senior seasons. She helped lead the Knights to their first postseason appearance in 2008 and finished as the conference runner-up in 2009.
 
Buckley graduated from Neumann in May of 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. She married fellow Neumann Alumni Zane Buckley in May of 2015 and the couple welcomed their first child, Finn, in June 2016.
