Neumann University Athletics

Dani Smith, of the women's volleyball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Smith eas also named the Atlantic East Specialty Player of the Week. She handed out 142 assists (35.5/match) in a 4-0 week for the Knights. The Alberta native also added 41 digs, 10 kills, eight service aces and five blocks. Her week high came against Vassar with 42 assists while tallying 39 against Ursinus. Also, against the Bears, Smith notched 18 digs.
