Lauren Klieber, of the women's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.
Klieber had a memorable week as she averaged 25.3 points and 10.7 rebounds and scored the 1,000th point of her career. In the 65-47 win against Wilkes to open the week, the junior scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds. She followed with 31 points and 11 boards in a 74-52 win at Penn State Brandywine. To wrap up the week, Klieber scored another 31 points, in which the 10th point of the game was her 1,000th. She also added 12 rebounds for another double-double. This is Klieber's second Player of the Week selection of the season, and the seventh of her collegiate career.
