Women's Tennis defeats Baptist Bible 8-1

Neumann College's women's tennis team travelled to LaPlume, PA. today for a conference match against Baptist Bible College. The Knights were looking to even their conference record at 1-1. They accomplished that mission defeating the Defenders 8-1.

In doubles play the Knights were able to win all three flights. Juniors Allison Trout (Audobon HS/Audobon, NJ) and Kayla Chamberlain (Gloucester Catholic / Mickelton, NJ) completed the doubles victories with their 9-7 victory at first doubles before heading to play the singles matches.

From there Neumann went 5-1 in singles competition to win the match 8-1 and even their conference record at 1-1 and 2-3 overall.

Neumann will play Messiah College Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
