GLEN MILLS, Pa. – The Neumann College women's tennis team defeated Immaculata University, 8-1, in Colonial States Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon.
Neumann (5-7, 4-2) started the afternoon sweeping doubles action. Kayla Chamberlain and Allison Trout won at No. 1 doubles, 9-8 (7-4). Alice DeTolla and Rachel Coladonato notched a win at No. 2 doubles, 8-2, and at No. 3 doubles, Lindsey Ravior and Michelle Steward won 8-0.
The Knights took No. 2-6 singles. DeTolla won at No. 2, 8-0. Ravior was victorious at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-1. At No. 4 singles, Steward won 6-2, 6-0. Coladonato won No. 5 singles, 8-3, and Chamberlain rounded out the Knights points at No. 6 singles, 8-0.
Neumann will host the College of Notre Dame on Thursday, October 2. The match is set to start at 3:30 p.m. at the Healthplex in Springfield, Pa.
