IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team swept all nine flights in a 9-0 win over Immaculata University Wednesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match.
In doubles action, Ali DeTolla and Maria Evans took first doubles, 8-3. The duo of Michelle Steward and Jasper Thomson took second doubles, 8-1. The senior pair of Kayla Chamberlain and Allison Trout won third doubles, 8-1.
In singles play, DeTolla won her match at first singles, 6-2, 6-2. Thomson took second singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Trout won third singles, 7-2, 7-6 (7-0). Lindsey Ravior won at fourth singles, 6-2, 6-2. Sat fifth singles, Steward won 6-0, 6-0 and wrapping up the match, Gabrielle Porcelli took sixth singles, 5-7, 6-4, 10-4.
Neumann, now 11-5 overall and 8-1 in the conference, will wrap up CSAC play tomorrow when it hosts Baptist Bible. The match is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
