ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team finished its 2009 season with a 5-4 win over Eastern University Tuesday afternoon. 

The Knights opened the match taking two-of-three doubles points. Jasper Thomson and Michelle Steward won their match at second doubles, 8-2. Senior duo of Kayla Chamberlain and Allison Trout took their match at third doubles, 8-1. 

Second, fifth and sixth singles won their flights and the match for Neumann. Thomson won second singles, 6-1, 7-5. Steward took fifth singles, 8-1, and Gabrielle Porcelli won her sixth singles match, 6-2, 6-3.  

Neumann finishes the season 14-6, the most wins for the Knights in a season, according to our records.
