ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Lebanon Valley College, 6-3, Thursday afternoon.
The Knights took two-of-three in doubles to start the afternoon. The team of Michelle Steward and Jasper Thomson won second doubles, 8-6. At third doubles, Kayla Chamberlain and Allison Trout also won 8-6.
Neumann won only one singles match. Steward won her fifth singles match, 7-5, 6-4. Gabrielle Porcelli lost a close match at sixth singles, 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.
Lebanon Valley remains a perfect 10-0 on the season. Neumann is now 10-4. The Knights will travel to Alvernia on Monday for a non-conference, which is set to start at 3:30 p.m.
