ASTON, Pa. – The fourth seeded Neumann College women's ice hockey team defeated fifth seeded Utica College, 6-1, in the first round of the ECAC West playoffs Saturday night.

Nicole Alexopoulos and Jessica Schroeder each had two goals and an assist. Jasper Thomson also has three points with a goal and two assists. Holly Williams and Kayla Dubowski added two assists. Mel Brunet made 31 saves in the win.

Neumann will travel to Elmira College next Saturday for the semifinals. Game time is TBD.
