SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann College softball team split a pair of games at Marywood University Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. The Knights won the first game 4-1 while the Pacers pulled out the second game 3-1.

The Knights scored three runs in the top of the seventh to break a 1-1 tie and win game one. Angela Sebasto pitched the complete game and struck out 12. Sebasto also had two hits in the game.

In game two, Jenn Goslin knocked Sebasto for the only Neumann run. Rachel Purpuro went 4.2 innings in the loss. Brittany Campbell went 1.1 innings in relief.

Neumann hosts Gwynedd-Mercy next Friday in CSAC action. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
